People's Church San Diego mainly supported and sponsored the last CONVOY OF HOPE in San Diego entitled, SAN DIEGO CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION. The event last December 12, 2009 provided food, toys, medicine, job information, haircut, hairdo, snow for the kids to play, games, astro jump, military enlistment information, music from bands and choirs, etc. but most of all PRAYERS. Close to 10,000 people attended the event which created long lines and lots of patience even in the presence of rain.

ThIs CONVOY OF HOPE activity was mainly funded by People's Church with donations from the ROCK church. It is an annual event to which People's Church San Diego has sponsored in 2006, 2007, and 2009.

It is a way of connecting to the community and to say "Merry Christmas" and thank you for all the patient volunteers who provided the services. It is a cooperative effort not only by PCSD and the ROCK but for all the different churches, businesses, entrepreneurs, medical and dental doctors and nurses, public servers, music entertainment, to name a few.
